After an entire summer on the sidelines due to injury, multiple world paddleboard and ironwoman champion Jordan Mercer came back with a bang May 26 in Hawaii, taking out the gruelling 52-kilometre Molokai to Oahu ocean paddle race for the first time in the prestigious surf ski division.
A six-times winner of the paddleboard division, Jordie first competed on a ski in 2018 and this year stormed home in 3:47:22 to add the title to her overflowing mantelpiece.
The Noosa World Surfing Reserve congratulates our 25-year-old global ambassador and wishes her many more successes.
